Missy Ronan

My name is Missy, and I want to be your Vice President.

I am a junior International Studies and Economics double major, with a minor in Art History. I’m trying to be at Towson forever, because it’s going to take me so long to graduate.  I’m from Central Jersey, but have since embraced the Maryland lifestyle (it really is an awesome flag). I’ve been fortunate enough to participate in Student Government since my Freshman year, first as a Senator, and then as Government Operations Chair in Senate Leadership. This past academic year I served as the Director of Health and Wellness, advocating for all dimensions of mental and physical health in relation to the student experience. While I am passionate about mental health advocacy, I am eager to return to the Senate. I am so humbled to have the opportunity to serve the student body that has impacted me so much; I hope to continue by overseeing the Senate as Vice President. The Senate is called to represent the student body and respond to their needs, and I hope to empower each Senator to reach the full potential of their initiatives as they work to bring agency to individuals and student organizations on our campus.
